We’re starting a global conversation.

The pandemic has changed many things, some good, some bad, but one area where it has unquestionably had an impact is in young people’s perceptions of higher education. There is a great deal of disillusion among our youth concerning the value of a college degree, especially in structurally marginalized communities, and they are enrolling in college at lower rates than pre-pandemic. This is a disturbing trend for our communities and our country. At National Louis University, we are taking a leadership role to reverse the course.

We are calling on people from all walks of life—business executives, educators, artists and performers, healthcare workers, celebrities, psychologists and counselors, chefs and hospitality professionals—anybody, with any degree, from any school. Help provide hope and give young people a reason to believe and invest in themselves. Share your story about how your degree made a difference in your life.  Visit the Degrees Make the Difference website to create and post your video to your social media accounts, ending with “My name is ____, and my degree made the difference.”
