About Our Endorsements, Approvals and Certificates
Our education endorsements and certificates offerings are designed in consultation with PK-12 partners to reflect current state requirements in high-needs fields. All coursework also can be applied to graduate degrees, and endorsements and approvals meet IL State Board of Education requirements. Our programs are:

Endorsements and Approvals
Offered in-person, online, in the evenings and on weekends, our courses are immersive experiences that provide research-based instruction, intellectual discussion, and a supportive community of practice. With a focus on advocacy and inclusion, you will learn methods and strategies to reach, teach, and support your students. You have the option to complete the endorsement/approval coursework as a stand-alone sequence or apply the graduate-level credit toward a degree program.

Certificates are graduate credit-bearing academic programs that you can complete within a short timeframe. No matter the stage of your career, our programs offer focused coursework to enhance your skillset in a specific area. Whether you take a single course or complete the entire sequence, all of the credit you earn can be applied towards a Master’s or Education Specialist’s degree.
