Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized, faculty-centered, peer review process designed to certify the quality of the design of online and blended courses and programs. Colleges and universities across the country use the tools in developing, maintaining and reviewing their online and blended courses and programs and for training their faculty. 

All course templates are created based upon Quality Matters standards. All courses developed by NLU go through an informal QM review. Selected NLU courses go through external QM peer review. QM provides online and blended course design training.

Once certified, adding QM to your CV will communicate to institutions across the country your advanced qualifications in course design. Many faculty appreciate this opportunity to contribute to the academic community, and find it to be a fulfilling source of additional income.
