Merryl Brownlow Ed.D. ‘15, Superintendent, Palos Heights School District 128
With 26+ years of education experience, Dr. Merryl Brownlow began her career as a classroom teacher before moving into building and district-level administrator roles. Beyond PK-12 systems, Dr. Brownlow serves as an adjunct professor at National Louis University, Illinois Association of School Administrators (IASA) workshop facilitator, and NWEA regional workshop presenter. Dr. Brownlow earned her doctoral degree from National Louis in 2018, a master's degree from Rider University, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.

Kamilah Hampton Ed.D. ’21, Principal, Richard J Daley Academy, Chicago Public Schools
Dr. Kamilah Hampton is the principal of Richard J Daley Academy. She is the author of "It's Worth the Wait," published in 2018. Dr. Hampton recently defended her dissertation and will graduate from National Louis University this spring. Her research identifies ways to support African American male achievement at high academic levels by providing social-emotional support.

Krish Mohip, Ed.D. ’22, Deputy Operational Educational Officer, Illinois State Board of Education
Krish Mohip spent his career working in education. He started his career working as a Kindergarten teacher for the Chicago Public Schools. While there he served in the positions of Assistant Principal, Principal, Deputy Chief of Schools, and Chief of Schools. He also served as a member of the CEO's Executive Cabinet. Mr. Mohip left the Chicago Public Schools in 2016 after being recruited by the State of Ohio to lead the 1st state-led transformation of an entire district. During his time there as the CEO, he was able to realize many successes in student outcomes, most notably increasing the graduation rate by 15% in just 3 years. He returned to Illinois in 2019 to serve on the senior leadership team at the Illinois State Board of Education where he is currently the Deputy Education Officer.
