CLAVE Doctoral Fellowship 2022-23 - Call for Applications

The CLAVE Doctoral Fellowship Program is designed to develop and support a network of promising, ethnically/racially diverse doctoral scholars traditionally underrepresented in higher education, with priority given to individuals of Latinx background. The program’s goal is to increase Fellows’ professional networks, writing capacity, and financial and professional knowledge base. Recipients of this Fellowship will also have opportunities at some point during or after their degree program to co-teach or teach a graduate-level course and/or participate in research in collaboration with NLU faculty members.

The CLAVE Doctoral Fellowships are awarded to nine (9) incoming students (fully admitted to an NLU doctoral program of study at the time of application) or current NLU doctoral scholars who demonstrate strong potential to become skilled educators, leaders, practitioners, and scholars at local, state and national levels.

Recipients receive up to $5,000 with an additional $300 book and materials allowance for each of the two years of this Fellowship. The online application provides full information on eligibility requirements.
