Kendall College Sponsors James Beard Awards

Kendall College is a sponsor again for this year's James Beard Foundation awards, what is known as the "Oscars of the culinary world." The festivities for this year's awards begin in Chicago on Saturday, June 3rd. Kendall will host two featured session panels including "Food Access & Sustainable Communities" and "The Abundance Setting: Who's Watching the Kids?" with a reception to follow on the 7th floor of 18 S. Michigan.

Furthermore, current Kendall students get to work with chefs who have booths at the Awards Reception on Monday June 5th and three lucky students will have the opportunity to be medal presenters on stage during the Media Awards on Saturday night and the Chef Awards on Monday.
