How to Get Instructor Copies of Textbooks

Please note, receiving Instructor Copies is not guaranteed. Here are ways to try to obtain instructor copies:

• VitalSource – Open a free VitalSource account and request a Faculty Sample at https://www.vitalsource.com/educators
• Contact the Publisher directly and ask for an Instructor Copy: Publisher Contact List
• Ask your department head if the school will cover the cost of the book. Then, send their approval to me, and I will give you instructions to place your order.

The NLU Library and Textbooks

The University Library will review the final textbook adoptions each term. When possible, the library will purchase the digital format of the textbook to house in our online library where students and instructors can access it for free.

If you have not finalized your textbook choice and would like assistance from a librarian, or, would like to see if an ebook can be purchased and housed in the library, please contact library@nl.edu.
