Welcome to the University Scheduling and Contracts Center!
The University Scheduling & Contracts Center (USC) is responsible for ensuring academic course scheduling and academic contract processes are developed, executed, monitored and optimized across the institution. The USC achieves this mission by bringing transparency to key processes and access to information to help inform planning and action.
- Scheduling
The USC will create and maintain all Course Registration Numbers (CRN’s) for the university, and create schedules for university programs. The USC is responsible for assigning adjuncts and faculty, in BANNER, and preforming the course readiness audit.
- Contracts
The USC issues all teaching and academic-related contracts for adjuncts, professional adjunct lecturers (PAL’s), faculty and staff. Teaching hours and load are monitored to ensure accurate contract pay practices.
- Data & Reporting
The USC will monitor, create and distribute reports based on low and high enrollment, course readiness, missing instructors, teaching hours and load, as well as other data pertaining to university schedules.
