Dr. Dillard is both a second-generation teacher and NLU graduate. He began his career as a High School Mathematics Teacher on Chicago’s South Side. Today he brings over twenty years of K-12 school education experience as a teacher, administrator, leadership coach and consultant. His experiences have led to his passion to see greater access for black and brown students to quality math curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
Dr. Dillard’s research interests include culturally responsive math pedagogy and school leadership development.
