The 2024 Annual Comprehensive Literacy and Reading Recovery® Conference will be held January 17-19, 2024 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel in Chicago, IL.
The conference is designed to provide superb professional development and networking opportunities for K-8 classroom teachers, intervention (Reading Recovery, Special Education, ESL) teachers, instructional coaches, program specialists, and administrators.
Conference sessions emphasize the dynamic integration of literacy learning across the curriculum within the educational agencies and policies that influence systemic school renewal and will cover 4 strands: Comprehensive Literacy, Reading Recovery, English Language Learning and Leadership.
There will be opportunities for learning more about:
- How children begin learning to read and write
- Highly effective intervention instruction
- Reading Recovery, Literacy Lessons, EL instruction
