Completion Statements

If you have already submitted a Diploma and Degree Finalization Request but need proof that you have completed your degree requirements before the degree date, you can request a completion statement using the form below. Please note that completion statements will not be processed during the two weeks prior to a degree date.

An email will be sent to your NLU student email account with a completion statement. Your request will be processed within seven business days if all of your grades are posted and your academic requirements have been completed. You will receive an email with your completion statement, which will also be posted to your transcript. If you need a transcript with a completion statement, you must wait until you receive your emailed completion statement before you can order a copy of your transcript.

If you later need a transcript with your degree posted, you will need to order a subsequent transcript.

Sample Completion Statement: All requirements for the DEGREE have been completed as of DATE.  The degree will be awarded DATE.
