Biography:
I have two passions in life: hospitality and higher education. I consider myself very lucky as I get to do what I love! In addition to my role at NLU I am also an event strategist for Maritz Global Travel where I help organizations with site selection and contracting for their conferences and retreats. Previously I was a corporate meeting planner for a global organization, working out of 22 countries, planning events for up to 20,000 attendees. Before my role as a meeting planner I worked in the hotel industry for about 20 years in various roles and properties. I am an active member of meeting planners international, association of business women, women in tourism, Bradenton-Sarasota hotel committee, successful women aligning together and Lakewood Ranch business alliance. In my personal time I love to travel, my favorite destinations are Venice Italy, Edinburgh Scotland and Cape Town South Africa. I also love to read, my favorite books include Goldfinch by Donna Tartt, Rebecca by Dame Daphne du Maurier and Night Film by Marisha Pessel.

Doctorate in Business from Argosy
MBA from Keller Graduate School and BA from Florida Southern College
Research and Interests:
I love anything related to leadership, motivation and organizational behavior.
