Biography:
Xiaoning has extensive college level teaching experiences in both China and US. Previously, she taught English as a Foreign Language courses in China Pharmaceutical University and literacy courses in State University of New York, Fredonia and North Central College. She is teaching ESL/Bilingual Education endorsement courses at National Louis University.

Research and Interests:
Xiaoning's primary research interests include the socio-cultural aspects of multilingual and multi-literacy development, visual literacy, multicultural children's literature, and the impact of technology on literacy development.
