Biography:
Dr. Venkatesh is the Director of Residency and Alternative Pathway Programs at National Louis University in the National College of Education. Prior to joining NLU, she was the Executive Director of School Innovation at ThinkCERCA (and educational technology organization), the Executive Director of Instructional Research and Development in the Boston Public Schools, and a teacher and school administrator in the Boston Public Schools. A member of the National Faculty at CAST since 2011, she has provided professional learning and consultation support to states, districts, and schools across North America, implementing the Universal Design for Learning framework. In her role at NLU, Dr. Venkatesh oversees residency and alternative pathway programs, teaches the practicum course in the residency program, and supervises residents at school sites.
