Who is a P.A.C.E. Student ?

P.A.C.E. at NLU looks at each applicant holistically.

The Admissions Committee evaluates the applicant's strengths, areas for future growth and development and motivation for success in the program.  Therefore, we are less concerned about specific measurements of test scores and are more concerned about finding the correct fit for the program and the students we support.

Applicants requesting admissions for the P.A.C.E. at NLU program are:

  • Between the ages of 18-28 years of age.
  • Diagnosed with an intellectual, learning or development disability.
  • Have completed their K-12 education.
  • Has the capability of independently manage medication with limited instructional support.
  • Motivated to participate in a structured group learning evironment within an apartment-living community.
