NLU Staff Council
Mission
The mission of the Staff Council Leadership Team is to represent and promote the interests of the staff and serve as an active advisory group to the University administration in areas that pertain to the welfare of the staff and matters that may benefit the University as a whole. We bring forward your questions and concerns as a liaison to university leadership to find solutions.

But we can't do this without YOU! Every NLU staff member is a member of Staff Council. We encourage and welcome your involvement and voice at our monthly All Staff Meetings, as members of our Special Interest Committees, or as part of our Leadership Team.
- Staff Council hosts an All-Staff Meeting on the second Wednesday of every month during the academic calendar year. If you have not received an invitation, please email staffcouncil@nl.edu.
- If you'd like to join a Special Interest Committee, please email one of the Committee Reps listed here for more information.
- Leadership Team elections happen each June. Information will be shared closer to each election cycle on nomination processes.
Staff Newsletter
Staff Council sends out a monthly newsletter to all staff. If you have something that you'd like included, please email its information to staffcouncil@nl.edu by the first Tuesday of the month.
