Leadership Programs
The Golden Eagle leaders program will assist students who want to go above and beyond to develop their leadership skills. The program, which takes place throughout the year, consists of sixteen 90 minute workshops with two levels: Emerging Leaders and Advanced Leaders. Participants must complete all of the Emerging Leaders program before progressing to the Advanced Leaders program.
Workshops will be face-to-face interactions, online discussions (zoom), and comprehensive assessments.
Participants will advance their skills in the following areas:
- communication
- team-building
- managing emotions
- social identities
- social justice principles
- financial literacy
- career planning
Upon completion of the Golden Eagle Leadership Program, participants will receive a Golden Eagle pin at the end of the Emerging Leaders workshop, gold cords at the end of the Advanced Leaders workshop to wear at commencement, and recognition at our annual Student Awards Dinner.
