Eagle Fest

We kick-off each flight with our annual Eagle Fest event for all new and returning students. Learn about resources for students, purchase NLU gear and meet new students and staff. Eagle Fest brings the fun of NLU right to you. 

Welcome Week

During Welcome Week we celebrate the new quarter with all new and returning students. Students explore every part of the NLU experience.  Learn about student organizations, leadership opportunities, Greek life, or join us for comedians, DIY events, and many prizes!

Eagle Week

We show our pride and school spirit during our annual Eagle Week.  Each day of Eagle Week is filled with fun, exciting events for all students. From our Build a Louie event, to student performance and ending with our big homecoming dance.  Eagle Week gives every NLU student the chance to show some pride. Eagle Week occurs annually in late October.

Art Expo

Every Spring we showcase the creativity, artistry and brilliance of our students during our annual Art Expo.  The Art Expo features nearly every artistic medium from photography, drawing, painting and sculpture. This student exhibition features thought provoking work from our talented students.

Study Jams

At the end of  each term, we give students the opportunity to study with peers, with a Learning Support Specialist or alone at one of our Evening Study Jams.  We invite every student to come study after hours in this on campus focused study experience with the support of staff and faculty. If that doesn't convince you, join us for a delicious breakfrast for dinner! 

Eagle-THON

Arts in the Dark Parade

The Arts in the Dark Parade unites Chicago's diverse creative community in a magical nighttime parade. Drawing together world-renowned institutions as well as artist in assorted fields, this dramatic display activates Halloween as the “artists  holiday.” Annually, NLU participates in the parade. Faculty, staff, and students come together to celebrate the creativity and diversity of our community. 

Involvement Fair

At NLU, we offer multiple and diverse options for students to get involved and stay activite. Twice per year, our Involvement Fair showcases the wide selection of student organizations, Greek life, community service, student resources and leadership development opportunities for all students.
