Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN-T) Traditional

The Traditional 4-year pathway is for students graduating from high school and looking to begin their college journey or for students who have less than 30 QH (20 SH) of college credit for transfer credit. This pathway is on the Chicago campus in a face-to-face format.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Upper Division

The BSN-Upper Division pathway is for students who have all the prerequisite courses completed with a C or better and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. This pathway is on the Chicago campus in a face-to-face format.

Accelerated Bachelor in Science in Nursing (ABSN-H) Hybrid

The ABSN-Hybrid pathway is for students with a bachelor’s degree in another field, all the prerequisite courses completed with a C or better and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. This pathway is a hybrid with asynchronous online courses and in person lab and clinical experiences. This pathway requires students to live within driving distance of the Chicago campus for lab experiences and the Chicago metro area for clinical experiences.

Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN)

The RN-BSN pathway is for students with a Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing who wish to complete their BSN degree. Students must have completed their diploma or ADN program at an accredited school and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation/Illinois Board of Nursing.

The university is seeking accreditation from the American Association Colleges of Nursing – Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation. An accreditation visit will be scheduled after students have been enrolled for one academic year.
