Transcript FAQ

  • Go to: nl.edu/transcripts
  • Click on the “Click here to begin transcript order” link.
  • You need to log in or create a new account using your personal email.
  • Create a new account using a different email.
  • If you continue having trouble you can email: transcripts@nl.edu
  • Allow 10 business days for delivery
  • If the recipient has not received the transcript after 10 business days, please email: transcripts@nl.edu
  • NLU considers etranscripts official, but your recipient may not.Please check with the recipient prior to placing an etranscript order.
  • A password, which will arrive in a separate email after your order is placed, is required to open your etranscript.
  • eTranscripts expire. They are available for 30 days or seven downloads, whichever comes first.
  • eTranscripts that have expired will not be re-issued and will have to be re-ordered
  • After your order is placed a password will arrive, in a separate email.
  • Check your junk or spam mail folder if you are missing either your transcript or your password email.
  • Adobe Reader is required to open your eTranscript. If you do not have it, you can download it for free here.
  • Ask your recipient to make sure they received the password email and to please check their junk or spam mail folder as well.
  • To ensure that the email is successfully delivered, please add email address noreply@parchment.com  to contacts list.

If you need to add a form you can do so when placing your order. Add the form in the “Order Options" parte of your order by uploading it where you see option”  “Attachment (optional)” This is only available in Etranscript or Mail options.

Yes, you can order your transcripts through: nl.edu/transcripts . Please note that if you attended prior to 2011, additional processing time may be required for your transcript.

Yes, you can view your unofficial transcript through your NLU Student Portal. This, however, may not be used when an official transcript is required.

If you have already submitted a Diploma and Degree Finalization Request but need proof that you have completed your degree requirements before the degree date, you can request a completion statement online. Please note that completion statements will not be processed during the two weeks prior to a degree date.
