NLU Student Veterans of America
NLU Student Veterans of America (SVA) Chapter consists of a group of dedicated student veteran leaders who meet to coordinate chapter activities that include social and community events, service activities, professional networking, and participation in location and national conferences/seminars.
SVA membership provides student veterans personal and professional growth opportunities by connecting them with leaders and mentors from various industries, for example, business, finance, healthcare, etc. This will allow student veterans to network and will help facilitate their career search.
The SVA meetings are held in the Veterans Resource Center (VRC), located on the Chicago campus, room 5044 and via zoom. The VRC serves as a focal point for all NLU veteran and military-connected students, where they can relax, socialize, do homework, and learn about more available resources.
