I believe that an educated society will produce equitable opportunities for all. My goal is to prepare our students to be outstanding teachers while at the same time introducing them to philosophical approaches that will guide their teaching to ensure an appreciation for culturally responsive pedagogy. I believe that teacher preparation studies should foster linguistic and cultural pluralism as part of schooling in order to ensure positive social transformation.
