Biography: Michael Guglielmo is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. He holds a Doctorate in Psychology and a Masters in Human Services/Counseling. Dr. Guglielmo has been an Instructor at National Louis University for 14 years teaching graduate courses in counseling. 

He is known for his engaging personal style and holistic approach to teaching. As a clinician, he specializes in relaxation training and cognitive behavioral treatment of depression and anxiety disorders, as well as a variety of stress related disorders. Dr. Guglielmo also has experience working with individuals with substance abuse and domestic violence issues.  

Dr. Guglielmo utilizes innovative methods for tailoring the helping process to his client’s unique needs. He works with clients on building a balanced lifestyle which leads to emotional wellness and an appreciation for life. He takes a solution focused approach in helping clients gain awareness of their strengths and capacity for change. He specializes in individual and couples therapy.
