Biography:
Ruth is a former lawyer who now serves as a college communications instructor. She is a seasoned professional writer with experience in a wide range of forms and genres from the academic and technical to the poetic. In addition to teaching in higher education, Ruth provides private writing and editing consultations and presents at teacher conferences and workshops.
Ruth served as counsel in the American Bar Association Center for Professional Responsibility. She has also made many compositional and editorial contributions to premier legal texts and resources including Lawyer’s Manual on Professional Conduct, The Annotated Code of Judicial Conduct, The Annotated Model Rules of Professional Conduct, and The Professional Lawyer.
