COVID-19 Policies and Campus Protocols

NLU Mask Policy 

Masks and face coverings are optional in public indoor areas but are recommended in those campus locations where the community risk levels are high. To see current community risk levels, visit:

• Chicago and Wheeling Campuses: Cook County Risk Level
• Lisle Campus: DuPage County Risk Level
• Tampa Campus: Hillsborough County Risk Levels

COVID-19 Vaccines Documentation

• The University recommends that all students and employees receive a COVID-19 vaccine and the related boosters.

Quarantine and Isolation

Under current CDC guidance, employees and students who have been in contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 do not need to quarantine or isolate. However, it is recommended that such individuals obtain a COVID-19 test.
