Degree Works Transfer Equivalency (TE) provides a course-by-course transfer credit evaluation to all prospective students and their counselors.
You can now complete an unofficial course-by-course evaluation of your transfer credit at your own convenience. Our Transfer Equivalency tool will create a detailed degree evaluation for multiple programs offered by National Louis so you have a clear picture of where you stand and which NLU program fits your needs the best.
TE is a great way to visualize your progress, compare different paths and understand what lies ahead. All you need is to set up a Transfer Equivalency account, add your transfer credit and run a degree evaluation for an NLU program of your interest.

No, you can use Transfer Equivalency as a Guest but we encourage you to set up a TE account in order to preserve your course information and store the last transfer credit evaluation.
Create an account for the best experience and to have your course information readily available when you log in next time:
- add and save your course information
- add new courses as you complete or plan to complete them
- use your course information to create unofficial evaluations and see how your courses apply to different NLU programs
- save your last evaluation
- download PDF copies of your evaluations to compare the results and requirements for different NLU programs

If a course that you have completed at another institution is not found, we most likely have not evaluated the course in the past. Please submit your course information to our Enrollment Advisor at enrollment@nl.edu so we can review your course(s) and provide you with needed information.
No, the results that you received are not official but should be used as a guide to help you understand how your classes taken at previous institutions may transfer and apply to degree requirements at National Louis University. Please contact our Enrollment Advisors to make sure that all courses were properly evaluated and to discuss your TE evaluation in detail.
Official transfer and degree evaluations will be completed upon application to NLU and submission of your official transcripts. To apply to NLU, connect with our Enrollment Advisors or submit your application online.
You need to download the PDF upon completion of each program evaluation and then, compare the results to see which program accepts the most of your credits.
