Getting Started Checklist
Did you know? You can choose to designate your pronouns in your account settings and share them with your colleagues in various areas of the Brightspace learning environment (D2L). Assessment and Accreditation
Assessment and Accreditation - Assessment supports with planning, data collection, and reporting on student learning outcomes across the university. Part of assessment efforts include NLU’s prior learning assessment and credit for prior learning efforts. Accreditation manages regional accreditation, state licensing and approval, and regulatory compliance.
The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning - The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) promote scholarly inquiry into student learning to advance the practice of teaching through the dissemination of the subsequent research findings.

NLU's Student Services can help you direct students to answers they may be seeking on a variety of topics, including those regarding advising, orientation, and registration - among others. Veterans and Military Resource Center
The Veterans Resource Center utilizes a holistic approach to serving student veterans and military-connected students. Our ‘wrap-around’ services help students find resources and support from NLU and community partners.
