Biography:
Dr. Beth-Halachmy received her doctorate in Educational Psychology (with concentrations in School and Educational Psychology, Counseling, and Human Development) from the University of California at Berkeley 1989. Since joining NLU, Dr. Beth-Halachmy has served in various roles, including, Director of NCE Doctoral Programs, Director Doctoral Program in Human Learning and Development as well as the Director of the School Psychology program. She is now a member of the faculty team of the Doctoral Program in Teaching Learning, where she has developed and taught one of the doctoral program core courses in Psychological Foundations of Teaching and Learning. Prior to joining NLU, Dr. Beth-Halachmy worked for eleven years as a school psychologist in northern California.
